Jeremy Hunsinger

Jeremy Hunsinger is a seasoned academic and researcher currently serving as a Fellow at the Balsillie School of International Affairs since November 2020. Holding the position of Associate Professor in Communication Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University since August 2011, Jeremy has also taken on the role of Associate Chair within the same department from July 2023 to July 2024. Previous experience includes senior research roles at Ryerson University's EDGE Lab and leadership at the Center for Digital Discourse and Culture. Jeremy has further contributed to the fields of information ethics and virtual worlds through various positions at institutions such as the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Jeremy's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Science and Technology Studies from Virginia Tech and various qualifications from esteemed institutions like the University of Oxford and Curtin University.
