Ken Jackson

Ken Jackson is an accomplished academic and coach with extensive experience in economics and athletics. Currently serving as the Head Coach of the Laurier Water Polo Club and an Associate Professor of Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University since July 2008, Jackson also held the position of Assistant Professor of Economics prior to that. In administrative roles, Jackson was the Undergraduate Program Director for Economics at the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics from July 2019 to June 2021 and has recently resumed this position in July 2024. Jackson has also contributed as Associate Chair for Economics and has previously directed the Undergraduate Program for Business. Earlier professional experience includes serving as General Manager at Selkirk Remote Sensing Ltd from 1997 to 2003. Jackson earned a Ph.D. in Economics from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography from the same institution.
