Kimberly Barber is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in voice performance and pedagogy. Currently serving as Associate Dean: External in the Faculty of Music at Wilfrid Laurier University since July 2017, Barber has been a Voice Professor at the institution since 2002 and ascended to Full Professor in 2018. Additionally, Barber is a Licensed Body Mapping Educator, focusing on preventing injury among musicians, and has facilitated numerous master classes and workshops internationally. Noteworthy performances include the creation of the role Asa in the world premiere of Oksana G. and the solo performance of This Land at NUMUS Concert Series. Barber’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Music and an Opera Diploma from the University of Toronto.
