Marie Flanagan

Marie Flanagan is a seasoned professional in the mental health and social services fields, currently serving as a Student Transition Coordinator at the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities since October 2019. In addition to this role, Marie has been providing services as a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counselor at Community Counseling Services and a Residential Counselor at Options For Community Living since 2015. Previous experience includes roles as a Therapist at Visiting Counselors of New York and a Substance Abuse Counselor at the Town of Smithtown Horizon's Counseling Center. Marie began a career in social work as an Elementary School Social Worker at Harding Avenue Elementary School in 2012.
