Ashley Comans

Ashley Comans serves as the Western PA Political Director for the Working Families Party since July 2024 and is a School Board Member for Wilkinsburg School District since May 2022. Additionally, Ashley has held the position of Campaign Manager at MomsRising.org since April 2022 and served as the Media & Government Relations Manager at Healthy Start, Inc. from May 2021 to July 2024. Previous experience includes working as Programs Manager for the Alliance for Police Accountability, where there was oversight of projects and strategic initiatives, and as Policy Associate and HYPE Project Coordinator at APOST, facilitating partner objectives. A background in customer advocacy and support at Highmark Inc. spanned from March 2013 to September 2017. Early career roles include Editor in Chief for the community outlet Renee Around the Way and Marketing Strategist Contractor for Alikay Naturals. Ashley's career began in media production as a Production Specialist at WPXI-TV. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Media Arts from PennWest Clarion, graduated in 2009.
