Dr. Joe Maluchnik

Dr. Joe Maluchnik currently serves as the Superintendent of Wilkinsburg School District since July 2019, following a diverse career in educational leadership, including roles as Principal and Assistant Principal in various districts. Experience includes serving as Warrant Officer in the US Army Reserves since July 1991. Previous positions encompass Assistant Principal at Greensburg Salem School District from April 2009 to June 2019, Middle School Principal and Assistant Junior-Senior High School Principal at Everett Area School District from July 2005 to April 2009, and Assistant High School Principal at Orange County Public Schools from July 2003 to June 2005. Dr. Maluchnik holds a Doctor of Education degree in Leadership and Administration from Point Park University, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Gannon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Teacher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
