Jesse Paris

Jesse Paris is a seasoned professional in the wood-products industry, currently serving as Group Leader for Bio Materials and R&D Chemist at Willamette Valley Company since March 2014. With a strong academic background, Jesse earned a PhD in Wood Science and Engineering from Oregon State University and a Master’s degree in Wood Science and Forest Products from Virginia Tech. Previous roles include Research Fellow at the Wood-Based Composites Center and various positions focused on wood composites, adhesives, and performance testing. Jesse's expertise encompasses data-driven solutions aimed at enhancing manufacturing processes and product performance in collaboration with customers.
