Barb Farmer

Barb Farmer has over 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Barb is currently working as a Clinical Manager at Willamette Vital Health/Hospice. Prior to this role, they served as the Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Willamette Valley Hospice. Barb also has extensive experience at Legacy Health, where they held the positions of Hospice Program RN Manager and RN Manager. Before that, they worked at Legacy Hospice (formerly Health Dynamics) as a Hospice Staff RN CM. Barb began their career at OHSU | Oregon Health & Science University as a Critical Care RN and later worked at Sacred Heart Hospital and Deaconess Hospital as a Neonatal ICU RN and Critical Care RN, respectively.

Barb Farmer obtained their RN Diploma in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing, where they studied from 1973 to 1977. In addition, they also hold the National Hospice Administrator Certification from NBHPNA, which they obtained in December 2008 and December 2012 respectively.
