Dr. Kirankumar Topudurti Pe, Dee, Faic, Fnspe, Faaas, Nac, Dist.m.asce

Dr. Kirankumar Topudurti, PE, DEE, FAIC, FNSPE, FAAAS, NAC, Dist.M.ASCE has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence and Innovation at Willdan Group, Inc., where they lead teams to develop and implement clean energy solutions for communities. Previously, they worked at the US Army Corps of Engineers for 19 years, holding positions such as Branch Chief, Deputy Director, and Interim Director. Dr. Kirankumar Topudurti, also worked as the Principal Technical Advisor and Senior Technical Fellow at Tetra Tech, where they advised senior executives on technical programs. In addition, Dr. Topudurti served as an Adjunct Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where they taught environmental engineering courses.

Dr. Kirankumar Topudurti, PE, DEE, FAIC, FNSPE, FAAAS, NAC, Dist.M.ASCE has an extensive education history. In 1977, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Dr. Kirankumar Topudurti, then pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, which they completed in 1984.

Seeking further knowledge in their field, Dr. Topudurti enrolled in the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1984 and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Environmental Engineering in 1988. This academic achievement added to their expertise.

Throughout their career, Dr. Topudurti recognized the importance of leadership and management skills and thus sought additional educational opportunities. In 2004, they studied Sustaining Base Leadership and Management at the Army Management Staff College. In 2006, they attended the Federal Executive Institute to enhance their knowledge in Leadership for a Democratic Society.

To further develop their leadership abilities, Dr. Topudurti participated in the Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard University in 2009. This program focused on leadership and management skills necessary for senior-level executives.

Additionally, Dr. Topudurti attended the Center for Creative Leadership in 2007 to engage in the Leadership at the Peak program, further refining their leadership capabilities.

Through their dedication to both technical expertise and leadership development, Dr. Kirankumar Topudurti continues to make significant contributions to the field of Environmental Engineering.
