Jeanne Huntsman has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jeanne started their career as an Intern Architect at Newman Architecture in 1998. Jeanne then worked as a Project Architect at Tyson and Billy Architects from 2000 to 2011, where they specialized in Low Income Housing, Assisted Living, Skilled Care Nursing, and Specialized Housing Design.
In 2011, Jeanne joined The Weidt Group as a Program Manager, responsible for managing MidAmerican Energy's Commercial New Construction program. During their time there, they ensured the successful implementation of annual goals and budgets.
In 2017, Jeanne became a Principal at The Weidt Group, a position they held until 2019. During this time, The Weidt Group was acquired by Willdan, a leading energy and engineering solutions company. Jeanne continued their journey with Willdan as the Director of Client Relations. In this role, they played a crucial part in serving over 130,000 small businesses, healthcare facilities, hospitality establishments, and educational institutions nationwide, helping clients manage changes in resources, infrastructure, and technology.
Jeanne Huntsman attended Iowa State University from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree. After completing their education, they earned several additional certifications throughout their career. In 2004, they became a licensed architect in the State of Illinois. Jeanne further expanded their qualifications in 2011 by obtaining a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certificate and licensure as a licensed architect in the State of Iowa and as a licensed interior designer in the State of Illinois. Lastly, in 2014, Jeanne obtained the LEED AP BD+C certification from the Green Building Certification Institute.
