Ryan McWeeney

Ryan McWeeney is a Juris Doctor candidate at Penn State Law, with extensive experience in legal and policy settings. Currently serving as an Oralist and Writer for the Penn State Law Vis Moot Team, Ryan transitioned to coaching the team in the 2022-2023 academic year. Previous experience includes a Certified Legal Intern position at the Centre County District Attorney's office, where Ryan contributed to criminal proceedings and conducted legal research and writing. Additionally, Ryan held various roles during an internship with the State of Rhode Island, as well as positions in student governance and internships at the Federal Trade Commission and with Senator Sheldon Whitehouse. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island and has held leadership positions within the university community.
