Tomas Casado-Frankel has extensive experience in psychotherapy and educational roles, currently serving as faculty in the Child/Adolescent Externship Program and supervisor in the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Training Program at the William Alanson White Institute since September 2016. Additionally, Tomas has been an adjunct faculty member at Adelphi University's Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology since September 2021, teaching courses on ethnicity and cultural influences in couple therapy. With a private practice as a psychotherapist since December 2012, Tomas previously held positions including mental health coordinator for early childhood programs, individual and group supervisor at the Metropolitan Center for Mental Health, and family stabilization therapist at The Children’s Aid Society. Educational credentials include multiple certificates in psychoanalysis and child and adolescent psychotherapy, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees in couple and family therapy, and sociology with a specialization in social psychology.
