Amanda Artru

Performing Arts Fellow at William and Flora Hewlett Foundation

Amanda Artru is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in the arts and education sectors. Currently a Performing Arts Fellow at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, Amanda focuses on program development and community-informed grantmaking while implementing strategies for data collection and DEIJ initiatives. As a songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist with the band Frankincense is not a Monster, Amanda shares creative musical expressions. Amanda also serves as the East Bay Correspondent for Broken Record Radio Show and has a rich theatrical background with The Imaginists, where Amanda contributed to original theater and community engagement efforts. Previous roles include school counseling positions in various educational institutions, enhancing student support and mindfulness practices. Amanda holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of San Diego and additional qualifications from Laughing Lotus Yoga Center and Sonoma State University.
