Nazya Nawaz

Nazya Nawaz, MSc FCCA, is a finance professional with extensive experience in various senior finance roles. Currently serving as the Director of Finance and Global Controller at William Blair since August 2015, Nazya has also held positions such as Global Corporate Controller and International Financial Controller within the same organization. Prior to joining William Blair, Nazya was the Head of Management and Financial Reporting at Peel Hunt from September 2008 to July 2015 and worked as a Management Accountant at Mazars in the UK from December 2003 to August 2008. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Cash Management Officer at Liberty from September 2002 to November 2003. Nazya holds a Master of Science in Information Management and Finance from the University of Westminster, an ACCA qualification, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Economics from London Metropolitan University.
