Samuel Dahmer

Samuel Dahmer is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in both performance and teaching. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Double Bass at the University of West Florida and William Carey University, Samuel has also held teaching positions with the Hattiesburg Public School District as a Strings Teacher. In addition to academic roles, Samuel performs as a Section Bass with the Mobile Symphony Orchestra, Gulf Coast Symphony, and Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, as well as serving as Principal Bass with the Meridian Symphony Association. Samuel holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Double Bass Performance and Pedagogy and a Master of Music from The University of Southern Mississippi, along with a Bachelor of Music from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
