John Mark Morris

John Mark has been with Groves since 2011. At the time Groves hired him, he brought with him 20 years of safety, estimation, and supervisory skills and experience.

While studying for a degree from Murray State in Occupational Safety and Health, John Mark worked for a local utility company, laying the groundwork for his success at Groves from a young age. He uses all the skills he amassed before arriving at Groves in addition to the skills he constantly adds to his repertoire to directly oversee 225 of the employees who work in safety, the mechanic shop, and the Powerline Group.

Since coming on board, he has seen the company quadruple in size. To him, that has been the most thrilling part of working here. Constantly adapting and growing to meet new and interesting challenges keeps the job dynamic and interesting all the time. And the most amazing part of that is how the same culture that initially attracted him to the job has stayed intact all the while. He is proud to be a part of that.
