Ian Devlin is a Partner and Head of Pensions in William Fry's Employment & Benefits team, where they advise employers and pension scheme trustees on various aspects of pension law. Ian has extensive experience in pension scheme funding, investment, and restructuring and is a former Chairman of the Association of Pension Lawyers in Ireland. Currently, they are a member of the DC Sub-Committee of the Irish Association of Pension Funds and have spoken at numerous forums on pension issues. Prior to their role at William Fry, Ian was a partner in the pensions group at Eversheds Sutherland Ireland, where they worked from 2000 to 2018 and advised on a wide range of pension matters. Ian holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Trinity College, Dublin and qualified as a solicitor through the Law Society of Ireland.
