Ian Millar

Ian Millar has extensive experience in the whisky industry, currently serving as the Global Brand Ambassador for Glenfiddich at William Grant & Sons since August 2005, where support is provided to international markets and the team of Brand Ambassadors worldwide. Prior to this role, Ian managed multiple malt distilleries, including Bladnoch, Mortlach, Linkwood, Glen Elgin, Dalwhinnie, and Blair Athol at Diageo from September 1980 to November 1998. Earlier in the career, Ian worked at Bells Scotch Whisky from October 1971 to August 1989, starting in various production roles and advancing to Production Manager in 1983 at Blair Athol Distillery. Ian's educational background includes attendance at Army Education Colleges from 1968 to 1971 and Pitlochry High School from 1958 to 1968.
