Kay Llovio

VP, Educational Effectiveness & Dean, School of the Humanities & the Arts at William Jessup University

Kay has a long history at Jessup serving in the following roles, since 2012 she is the Associate Provost for Student Development, and since 2004 as the Professor, Practical Theology and Education.

Kay believes education is more than learning job skills. She believes education is about knowledge, attitudes and values. To Kay, education is about being a better person, and she knows no better source for that than the Bible. But even more – what Kay loves about this sacred trust – is its connectedness throughout history (Hebrews 1:1-3; 11-12:2). For Kay, education is about learning who we are – who we can be – and how we want to invest our lives in the context of a history that far surpasses our individual lives.
