Katherine Farrell York

Katherine Farrell York is an experienced educator with a focus on middle school instruction and leadership in English and social studies. Currently serving as a 6th and 7th grade English and social studies teacher, as well as Head Rowing Coach at William Penn Charter School since November 2014, Katherine has previously held a teaching position at St. Aloysius Academy from August 2015 to April 2023, covering subjects such as Social Studies and English Language Arts for various grades. Prior roles include a 6th grade teaching position at Visitation BVM School from July 2012 to July 2015, where Katherine taught multiple subjects including English, Math, and Social Studies, and an ACESJU Fellowship at St. Joseph's University. Katherine holds a Master of Science in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education from Saint Joseph's University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Georgetown University.
