John Ingle

John Ingle currently serves as the Head of R&D Test and Assembly at Williams Racing, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, John Ingle spent over 15 years at Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, culminating as Head of Dyno Groups, where responsibilities included overseeing the test engineering and facility operations of the dyno test program, managing a team of over 20 professionals. Previous experience includes roles such as Head of Powertrain Dyno Group and Dyno Test Engineer at Mercedes, as well as Dyno Test Engineer at Brawn GP and Honda Racing F1, and Systems Engineer at BAR Honda F1. John Ingle began the racing career with a scholarship training scheme at Reynard Motorsport. Educationally, John Ingle holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester, obtained between 1996 and 2001.
