Mark Lloyd

Mark Lloyd is a highly experienced engineering professional in the motorsport industry, currently serving as the Principal Design Engineer for Composite Structures at Williams Racing since January 2021. With expertise in designing chassis and composite structures to meet FIA regulations, Mark has previously held positions such as Senior Composites Design Engineer at Renault Sport Racing, where responsibilities included leading the Rear End Integration team for a major R&D project, and Senior Design Engineer at McLaren Racing, focusing on transmission components. Mark's career began at Arrows F1 and Unipart, progressing from Jig & Tool Design Engineer to Product Design Engineer. Mark holds a Master of Engineering (MEng), a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng), and technical qualifications in mechanical engineering from The Open University and Oxford Brookes University.
