David Allen

David Allen is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and engineering fields. Currently serving as Lead Engineer I at Williams International since June 2021, David has held roles as Senior Engineer and Rotation Engineer. David's prior experience includes a Graduate Student Instructor position at the University of Michigan College of Engineering, where instruction and support were provided to students in lab settings. A Technical Engineering Intern at GE Aviation, David contributed to a new product introduction simulation project. As a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, David engaged in advanced materials analysis, including microstructural changes in nickel alloys and heat treatment of AlSi10Mg. This follows previous internship experience at Williams International, focusing on metallurgical analyses. David holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
