Real Estate Attorney

Full-time · FL, United States

Job description

Williams Parker, Sarasota’s largest and oldest home grown law firm, helps its clients realize their visions for their businesses and families through a variety of specialties. Our Real Estate practice group seeks a junior Real Estate Attorney to join our growing team in Sarasota, Florida. Whether you are already licensed to practice law in Florida - or planning to relocate and willing to sit for The Florida Bar exam in the near future - you are encouraged to apply.

Our real estate practice group includes board-certified specialists with experience in a variety disciplines, including commercial and residential real estate transactions, condominium and subdivision development, land use, banking and finance, title insurance, and construction litigation and contracting.  Our attorneys work together as a team to provide clients with expert guidance in all phases of their transactions and regardless of the level of complexity.  No other firm has our experience or our deep connections to the region’s top real estate professionals, buyers, sellers, developers, and investors.

Founded in the Roaring Twenties at the height of the Great Florida Land Boom, Williams Parker successfully navigated the Great Depression, the post-WWII boom years, the expansive prosperity that accompanied the development of the U.S. Interstate Highway system, and Florida’s current, rapid growth. The skyline of our region was written—legally speaking—by our firm. Wherever real estate expansion has occurred, Williams Parker has been the guiding hand.

Williams Parker Attorneys at Law

We take great pride in our long-standing history in the Sarasota community. The firm was founded in 1925 by J.J. Williams, Jr., who stressed the importance of commitment to clients, service to community, and devotion to excellence in the practice of law–guiding principles that have defined our firm for more than 98 years. He understood that the attorney-client relationship is both personal and professional. Adhering to his philosophy, we are dedicated to representing and advising our clients on legal matters with careful consideration for their personal concerns. Williams Parker exists to help our clients implement their visions for their businesses and their families. Our clients appreciate our attentiveness, discretion, and judgment. We practice in the legal disciplines that align with our client base. In those disciplines, we have built national-caliber capabilities, offering one of Florida’s largest trusts and estates practices; tax and employment practices with significant depth; and accomplished real estate, litigation, and corporate practices. We are hard-working, fair-minded, and community-centered attorneys and professionals who support and collaborate with one another. Many of our practitioners have at least one advanced degree in taxation, accounting, or business, and many of our attorneys are certified as specialists by The Florida Bar. Our attorneys and staff include native Floridians as well as “transplants.” Every one of us lives and works here because the quality of life in our region is second to none. We are proud of the central roles we have played forging some of the area’s most enduring and iconic institutions and leading organizations. Our attorneys are actively involved in our area’s business, charitable, and civic affairs. Our volunteerism generates long-term prosperity for the area, and we are delighted to call Sarasota home.
