Kirsten Derr

Kirsten Derr is an experienced environmental specialist with extensive expertise in air permitting and compliance, currently serving at Williams since July 2014. At Williams, responsibilities include managing air permitting for new activities and regulatory updates, ensuring compliance with various federal and state regulations such as NSPS and NESHAP. Previously, Kirsten worked as a temporary employee at the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, contributing to environmental risk analyses and data management during emergency response efforts. Prior to that, Kirsten held the position of environmental specialist and group leader at Encana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc., overseeing compliance programs related to various environmental regulations in Wyoming and New Mexico. With earlier experience as a senior environmental program engineer and environmental engineer at Johns Manville, Kirsten has effectively supported multiple manufacturing facilities in developing compliance strategies and training programs. Kirsten holds both a Master of Science in Ecological Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
