Dale South

Dale South is an experienced pastor with a diverse background in church leadership and planting. Currently serving as the Small Groups Pastor at Williamsburg Community Chapel since September 2018, Dale previously held the position of Lead Pastor at Long Green Baptist Church from 2009 to August 2018. With a foundation in church planting as a missionary for the SBC of Virginia from 2004 to 2009 and as a church planter and student worker with the IMB from 1993 to 2003, Dale has a robust history in ministry. Academically, Dale holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Theology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, earned between 2010 and 2017, a Master of Divinity (M. Div.) from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary from 1980 to 1983, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics/International Studies from Virginia Tech, obtained in 1980.
