Joseph McWeeney

Joe brings over five years of accounting, reporting and advisory experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Joe has advised clients in the software, media, biotechnology, retail, healthcare and life sciences industries. He has advised clients on a variety of technical accounting matters including business combinations, stock-based compensation, revenue recognition under ASC 606, SEC reporting and the accounting and reporting for complex financial instruments including convertible debt, warrants, and preferred stock. Joe has also assisted clients with IPO readiness and audit preparedness. Joe has served as an interim controller for a private life sciences company.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Joe was a Senior Associate in the Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston where he primarily served clients in the asset and wealth management, real estate and not-for-profit industries. While at PwC, Joe assisted some of the firm’s largest public and private clients with fair value reporting, restructuring, liquidation, acquisitions and initial audits.

Joe is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Babson College.
