Maria brings over 17 years of valuation advisory and corporate finance experience to WilliamsMarston. She has advised a wide variety of clients from early-stage to pre-IPO to Fortune 100 companies, both domestically and internationally, on their complex valuation matters and strategic alternatives. Her work spans across various industries, including technology, media and entertainment, consumer products, business services, aerospace and defense, and renewable energy. Her experience includes valuations of securities, companies and intangible assets for pre- and post-transactions, financial and tax reporting, purchase price allocations, goodwill and intangible assets impairment analyses, stock-based compensation, restructurings, divestitures, financings, gift and estate tax planning, and litigation.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Maria was a Senior Manager at EY LLP in their Strategy and Transactions’ Valuation practice where she advised some of the leading technology, media and entertainment companies in the world, including working with clients to build out detailed financial forecast models. She also reviewed and opined on hundreds of valuation analyses prepared by, or on behalf of, audit clients. Prior to that, she was a Vice President at Houlihan Lokey, Inc. (NYSE:HLI) where she advised clients ranging from early-stage private equity backed to Fortune 500 companies. Prior to that, she worked in a boutique valuation and litigation consulting firm.

Maria is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Business Administration from the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia, with concentration in accounting and finance.
