Pooja brings more than four years of valuation and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Pooja has advised clients in the life sciences, technology and energy industries. Her valuation expertise includes financial reporting matters such as mergers and acquisitions, purchase price allocations, goodwill and intangible asset impairments, lease accounting, stock compensation, and tax reporting matters such as 409a and intangible asset valuations.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Pooja was a Senior Associate at Bay Valuation Advisors, LLC (“BVA”). While at BVA, Pooja advised numerous clients ranging from early-stage venture backed entities to Fortune 100 companies with their complex financial and tax reporting valuation matters including stock-based compensation, company valuations, purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment, option grants pursuant to IRC 409a, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and complex financial instruments including convertible debt, warrants and preferred stock. Prior to BVA, Pooja was an Associate in the Transaction Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP in Houston, Texas where she provided audit and advisory services pertaining to US GAAP, IFRS and SEC reporting to a variety of clients in the energy industry.

Pooja holds a Masters degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from University of Houston and a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from India.
