Monique Mathys-Graaff, CFA, currently serves as the Global Head of Sustainability Solutions and Senior Director of Investments at Willis Towers Watson since September 2021. Prior to this role, Monique was a Senior Advisor and Head of Public Markets at the Impact Management Project from February 2020 to August 2021, and held the position of Head of Investment Project Development at the Public Investment Corporation from February 2016 to February 2020, focusing on catalyzing impact investing in South Africa and Africa. Monique's extensive experience includes roles as Chief Economist at the Chamber of Mines South Africa, Investment Strategist, and Resources Strategist at Standard Bank Group, and Head of Investor Relations at African Rainbow Minerals Limited. Earlier career highlights include corporate finance roles at Rand Merchant Bank, mining equity analysis at Deutsche Bank, and initial training as a Graduate Trainee at Merrill Lynch.
