Petar Astinov

Petar Astinov has over a decade of experience in investment management, currently serving as Portfolio Manager and Director of Investments at Willis Towers Watson since April 2011. In this role, Petar focuses on managing defined benefit pension funds, developing long-term investment strategies, selecting top-tier investment managers, and implementing liability-driven solutions. Previously, as a Senior Investment Analyst, Petar provided strategic investment advice for various pension schemes and hedge funds, conducted asset and liability modeling, and mentored junior associates. Petar began a career in finance with an internship at the Bulgarian National Bank, conducting financial analyses. Educational credentials include an MSc in Finance from Cass Business School and a BA in Business Administration/Accounting from the American University in Bulgaria.
