Business Solution Lead at Willoughby City Council

Caroline Hillen has extensive work experience in various roles within local government organizations. Caroline began their career in 2006 as a Statutory Planner at the City of Canada Bay and held this position until 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Strategic Planner, responsible for planning and implementing strategic initiatives. In 2013, they transitioned to the role of Business Analyst/ Team Leader for a corporate system implementation project.

In 2015, Caroline took on the role of Coordinator for Business Systems at the City of Canada Bay, where they managed and coordinated the organization's business systems. Caroline held this role until 2017, when they joined Cumberland Council as the Manager of Corporate Information Systems. In this position, they oversaw the management and implementation of the council's corporate information systems.

Most recently, Caroline has been working at Willoughby City Council since 2019. Caroline initially held the position of Technical Solution Lead for the Corporate Systems Replacement Project, where they played a key role in overseeing the replacement of the council's corporate systems. Currently, they serve as the Business Solution Lead, contributing to the council's business solutions.

Caroline Hillen holds a Bachelor's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of New England. Caroline is currently pursuing a Diploma in Landscape Design from TAFE NSW, which they started in 2022. Additionally, Caroline has also studied Geographic Information Science and Cartography at Charles Sturt University, although it is unclear whether they completed a degree in this field.
