Samantha Connor has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Samantha started their career in various senior leadership roles before moving on to work as a General Manager in the sports, arts, and youth development field for the Police and Community Youth Clubs. Samantha then became the General Manager of PCYC Fitness, where they were responsible for developing fitness centers statewide and overseeing their marketing and financial performance. In 2009, Samantha joined The Hills Shire Council as the Business and Community Coordinator for Major Venues & Events, where they managed event coordination, budgets, sponsorships, and marketing plans. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Project Manager at Wirth Consulting. Samantha also had their own business, Hippomailing, where they served as the Director and provided fulfillment services for charity and NGO direct marketing. Currently, they are seconded to Willoughby City Council as the Manager of Events and Corporate Projects, leading a transformational change project focused on improving customer experience.

Samantha Connor completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern Cross University, which they pursued between 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Sports Management from the University of Technology Sydney, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, Samantha holds a Bachelor of Human Movement Studies (Ed) from the Australian Catholic University. Samantha also obtained Certificates III and IV in Fitness from the Fitness Institute Australia. The exact years for these two degrees are not specified.
