Michelle Pilafas

Michelle Pilafas currently serves as the Groups Assimilation Pastor at Willow Creek Community Church, where responsibilities include caring for congregants seeking spiritual guidance and overseeing volunteer engagement. Additionally, Michelle holds the position of Group Life Pastor at Hoffman Estates Foundation and has been a Trustee for the Village of Hoffman Estates since 1997, where leadership includes chairing the Hoffman Estates Arts Commission, which creates diverse arts programming. Michelle also has a history of leadership as the former Chairman of the Commission for Disabled Citizens, focusing on community strategies for residents with disabilities. Prior experience includes directing choral programs at Westmont High School and leading a fine arts program for young children at Players Music and Movement Center. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Roosevelt University.
