Steve Nelson

Steve Nelson has extensive experience in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors. Currently serving as a volunteer with Young Life since March 2020 and a volunteer for Willow Kids at Willow Creek Community Church since August 2001, Steve has dedicated significant time to community service. Prior professional roles include Director of the Grocery Center Store at Topco Associates LLC from August 2014 to December 2018, and various positions at Sears Holdings Corporation, including Offshore Merchandising Initiatives Process Improvement Manager and Divisional Merchandise Manager, from August 2008 to August 2014. At Dean Foods, Steve held the position of Vice President of Sales from August 1998 to December 2007. The career began at Jewel-Osco, where Steve worked from 1976 to 1995 in roles ranging from Part Time Clerk to Category Manager. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from North Park University.
