Jessica Beeson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and community engagement. Currently serving as Executive Director at Willow Domestic Violence Center since August 2018, Jessica has held multiple roles there, including Interim Executive Director and Managing Director of Survivor Services. Prior to this, Jessica worked at the University of Kansas from August 2008 to August 2019, where roles encompassed Lecturer in Leadership Studies and Religious Studies, Program Manager, and Director of Alumni and Community Engagement. Key contributions included developing undergraduate courses, managing cross-disciplinary projects, and executing strategic plans for alumni relations. Jessica holds an MA in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Arizona and a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Kansas.

The Willow Domestic Violence Center is dedicated to eliminating domestic violence and human trafficking by providing safety, education and advocacy. Incorporated in 1976, The Willow (then known as WTCS) was the first domestic violence shelter in Kansas. The agency supports and assists all victims of domestic violence and human trafficking in Douglas, Franklin, and Jefferson Counties.
