Willow Ethos Ltd | About Us

Willow Ethos is a UK-based organisational development and culture consultancy specialising in cultural diagnostics, behavioural insight and strategic people development.

Much like a willow tree, where the branches and roots are deeply interconnected, organisational culture relies on strong foundational values, and cohesive teams or departments to provide stability and support growth, with the branches at the very top cascading down to stay connected to the whole tree, at every level.

At Willow Ethos, we support truly great organisations in understanding their people, aligning culture with purpose and creating environments that enable effective performance. We recognise that leaders must respond to both internal and external changes to build resilient organisations. Sustainable progress requires understanding that motivates individuals and ensures this connects meaningfully with organisational goals. Willow Ethos helps organisations grow by building on their roots and supporting the development of strong branches, fostering cohesion and resilience throughout the workplace. Unlike other consultancy firms, we recognise the importance of understanding people, and supporting their personal development, as this drives performance and makes a business thrive.

Our Mission

Our mission is to facilitate insight-driven organisational development using behavioural science, structured diagnostics and human-centred consultancy. We believe that cultural evolution requires clarity and ongoing support, as the current business climate requires leaders to remain close to their staff. Willow Ethos aims to unlock organisational potential through ongoing partnership. Unlike consultancies that only deliver a report, we accompany our clients throughout their development journey, providing continued guidance and support to help organisations progress toward their intended outcomes. Clients can contact Willow Ethos at any time, with support available not just today but in a year's time as well.

What We Do

Understanding Culture

Understanding culture is essential for building effective teams. We examine values, communication patterns and behavioural norms to understand how culture influences performance. Our diagnostics identify strengths, areas of tension, issues that may hinder team performance, and underlying dynamics that shape team effectiveness. Focusing on the specific cultural factors that drive team success is key to supporting organisational growth.

Understanding Talent

Using evidence-based profiling tools, we map strengths, leadership potential and development needs. Each person brings unique qualities and behaviours to their role, shaping the overall culture and performance of the organisation. This helps organisations position people in roles that align with their capabilities and enable meaningful contribution. Aligning talent with organisational needs is key to achieving success.

Understanding You

To start your journey of self-awareness and growth, consider engaging in coaching, assessment, and guided development. Through these methods, we support individuals and leaders in improving communication, self-awareness, and personal effectiveness. We encourage reflective thinking and responsibility, which we see to be key components of any innovation in business. Personal development is not simply a matter of following a checklist; it requires ongoing reflection and a commitment to responsibility.

Our Ethos

Our name reflects our approach: grounded, adaptable and focused on long-term growth. The sole purpose of Willow Ethos is to foster cultural evolution and organisational growth.

The Willow Ethos philosophy is built on three principles:
•	Restless Curiosity: asking the right questions in the right way.
•	Deep Understanding: using data and behavioural insight to form a complete picture.
•	Informed Direction: offering clear, practical and actionable guidance, harnessing the power of culture and giving your organisation an edge.
