Meilin Lyu

Meilin Lyu has a work experience as an Associate Software Developer at Willowglen Systems starting from July 2023. Prior to this role, Meilin served as a Software Developer Co-op at Willowglen Systems from September 2021 to April 2023. Additionally, Meilin participated in the AI Launch Lab / Lancement IA as a Data Scientist where they worked on the project "Analyzing Energy Usage in Remote Communities of Canada" from June 2021 to August 2021. In this role, Meilin utilized AI techniques to generate a complete characterization of building stock, particularly residential and commercial buildings, and developed a model for arctic communities based on the Wurm 2021 model.

Meilin Lyu pursued higher education at the University of Alberta from 2018 to 2023, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Computing Science. In addition to their academic achievements, they also obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they completed the Reinforcement Learning Specialization from Coursera. Furthermore, they acquired expertise in HTML, CSS, and Javascript for Web Developers through a Coursera program in July 2020. Meilin Lyu also holds the R & D program Certificate of Graduation from AI Launch Lab / Lancement IA, which they obtained in August 2021.
