Haley Rutherford

Haley Rutherford is an experienced educator currently teaching middle school social studies, language arts, and high school IB Environmental Systems and Societies at Willows Preparatory School since August 2025. Additionally, Haley leads outdoor programs for middle and high school students at Lakeside School and has previously served as a substitute teacher in Seattle Public Schools. With a background in environmental education, Haley has worked as a Brand Ambassador for Blue Dot Kitchen, a Farmers Market Crew member for Finnriver Farm & Cidery, and as an educator for Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District. Other roles include Naturalist with Nature Vision, Summer Camp Director at Wilderness Awareness School, and Youth Program Specialist with Northwest Leadership Foundation. Haley holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and a Master of Arts in Education from Antioch University Seattle, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Science and Environmental Education from Western Washington University.
