Daniel Browning

Daniel Browning has had a diverse range of roles and experiences throughout their career. Daniel started as a Product Manager Intern at Cvent in 2014, where they focused on defining requirements for features on Cvent's Supplier Network. Daniel then moved on to become a Software Engineer II at Cvent in 2015, where they worked on multiple React web applications with Java web services. In this role, they designed technical solutions based on business requirements and implemented reliable and scalable software solutions.

Daniel then transitioned to become a Senior Product Owner at Cvent, where they focused on defining software solutions and working with the technology team to implement them. Daniel particularly focused on cross-product solutions that could be used across the platform.

In 2020, Daniel joined CFA Institute as a Product Manager, where they worked on employee technologies and data teams. Daniel introduced industry best practices to improve team efficiency and led various accomplishments such as designing new processes, coordinating system integrations, and developing consistent data models.

Currently, Daniel is employed as a Director, Product Lead at WillowTree, a role they started in 2021. In this position, they collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable work for development teams. Daniel takes ownership of product requirements and utilizes their technical experience to contribute to technical discussions and solutioning. Daniel also builds and maintains strong client relationships.

Daniel Browning completed their education at the University of Virginia from 2011 to 2015, earning degrees in Systems Engineering (B.S.) and Economics (B.A.). Prior to that, they attended Washington-Lee High School from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma and was Valedictorian. In addition to their formal education, Daniel obtained certifications in Product Strategy from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2022 and as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Cprime, Inc in 2017.
