Evandro Ficanha

Evandro Ficanha is a seasoned Research Engineer with extensive experience in the design, modeling, fabrication, and testing of ankle-foot prostheses at WillowWood since December 2017. Previously, Ficanha worked at Michigan Technological University from January 2010 to December 2017, where research focused on the mechanical properties of the human ankle, contributing to the development of powered prosthetics that replicate these properties. Ficanha holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same field, all from Michigan Technological University.
