Allen Chiang is an accomplished surgeon with extensive experience in the field of ophthalmology. Since May 2013, Allen has served as a Surgeon at Wills Eye Hospital and as a Partner at Mid Atlantic Retina, while also holding the position of Clinical Associate Professor at Thomas Jefferson University. Prior to these roles, Allen worked as an Associate Physician at East Bay Retina Consultants and completed a Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. Allen's training includes a residency in ophthalmology at UCLA Health / Jules Stein Eye Institute, where recognition included the JSEI Resident Award for Excellence in Surgery and the JSEI Resident Award for Clinical Research. Allen's medical education was obtained from NYU Grossman School of Medicine, following an undergraduate degree in Economics from Brown University.
