In addition to her clinical role, Joanna Fisher serves as the President of the Wills Eye Alumni Society at Wills Eye Hospital, where involvement has spanned since 1986. Joanna Fisher completed an ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital from 1983 to 1986, following an internship in internal medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital (1982-1983). Education includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel School of Medicine) (1978-1982) and an Accelerated Bachelor of Arts/MD program in Pre-Medicine from Lehigh University (1976-1978).
