Bethan Cater

Bethan Cater has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Bethan started their career as a TEFL teacher at Oxford Academia de Ingles, teaching English in Southern Spain and also working as a Cambridge Certificate examiner. Bethan then worked as an Editorial Assistant at TFPL before joining Macmillan as a Deputy Editor. Bethan later held various editorial roles at Wilmington plc, including Editor, Managing Editor, Head of Editorial, and Director of Publishing Systems and Services. Bethan'smost recent role at Wilmington was as the Group Head of Data Management, where they worked with multiple international companies to resolve data issues, implemented Salesforce, and led a project for the implementation of Exact Target across 30 business units. Bethan also served as the Group Data Protection Officer, responsible for ICO registrations and handling SARs.

Bethan Cater attended Stantonbury Campus from 1983 to 1989. Bethan then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in French and German from The University of Liverpool from 1989 to 1993. Finally, they pursued a Masters degree in Applied Languages at the University of Kent from 1995 to 1996.
