Auke Smet has a diverse background in various industries, ranging from bioenergy systems to hospitality. Currently working as a Projectontwikkelaar at HoSt Group - Bioenergy Systems, Auke's experience includes roles such as Horeca medewerker at Wilminktheater en Muziekcentrum Enschede and Magazijnmedewerker at Esschert Design B.V. Auke has also held positions as an Intern at KWR Water Research Institute and as a Research Intern at the University of the Witwatersrand. With a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Technology from the University of Twente and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Auke's education and work experience reflect a strong foundation in the field.

We are the proud owner of the company name 'Wilminktheater en Muziekcentrum Enschede'. The name 'Wilminktheater', our theatre, is a tribute to the Dutch poet and writer Willem Wilmink, who was a famous inhabitant of the city of Enschede. The biggest theatre hall of the 'Wilminktheater' is the 'Pay. Zaal' (1001 chairs). Thanks to plays and concerts for young and old, the stage comes to life every cultural season. The 'Muziekcentrum' (Music Centre) is one of the most important concert halls in the Netherlands.
