Liam Simpson

Liam Simpson has a strong background in health, safety, and security management, with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Liam started their career in the British Army as a Senior Manager and later transitioned to civilian roles at Aegis Defence Services Ltd and The Weir Group PLC, where they held positions such as Project Lead and Corporate Safety and Security Manager. Currently, Liam is the Director of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing at Wilson James, where they have previously served as Head of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing and Regional HSE Manager.

Liam Simpson has pursued various educational qualifications over the years. Liam started at Middelton Technology from 1998 to 2002. Later, they attended the University of the West of Scotland for their MBA from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, they completed Diplomas in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH in 2015, Construction in 2022, and finally another Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety in 2022. Liam has also obtained several certifications in Security, Risk Management, and Close Protection from reputable institutions.
