Adam Koussari-Amin

Adam Koussari-Amin is currently working as the Senior Director - Culture, DEI, Talent at Wilson Language Training since May 2023. Before that, they held the role of Director, Talent Management at Cengage from April 2019 to June 2023. At Cengage, they launched and oversaw an employee listening program, evolved performance management programming, co-developed a professional development framework, and evolved HR metrics and analytics offering. Prior to Cengage, Adam served as the People Operations Manager at Learning Objects from September 2015 to August 2017. From August 2017 to April 2019, they worked as the Senior Manager, Talent Strategy and Operations at Cengage, partnering with the CEO and CPO to lead a refresh effort of the company's Credo and Ethos. Before that, Adam worked at Universal Service Administrative Co. (USAC) as a Senior Business Analyst from September 2014 to September 2015 and as a Senior HR Business Partner from March 2012 to September 2014. Adam started their career as a Marketing Intern at Command Information from June 2006 to August 2006. Prior to that, they held various roles at MarketBridge Consulting including Program Manager, Campaign Manager, and Campaign Coordinator.

Adam Koussari-Amin, SHRM-SCP has a Graduate Certificate in Education Technology Leadership | Instructional Design from The George Washington University, obtained from 2013 to 2016. Adam also holds a BS in Commerce with concentrations in Marketing and Management, as well as a BA in Economics, both from the University of Virginia, obtained from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in 2015 and the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) from HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute) in 2013.
