Jeanne Morgan

Jeanne Morgan is an experienced professional in the field of education, currently serving as the President of The Reading League Connecticut since June 2021. With a strong background in special education, Jeanne has held various roles including Wilson Language District Trainer at Wilson Language Training since July 2018 and Educational/Reading Consultant at Target-literacy, LLC. Since August 1991, Jeanne has been a Teacher and Literacy Interventionist at Waterford Public Schools, where responsibilities include managing special education caseloads, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with general education teachers. Jeanne also served as Vice President of the Dyslexia Society of Connecticut Inc. from October 2017 to October 2021, contributing to dyslexia awareness and educational training. Educational credentials include a 6th Year/092 Certification in Educational Leadership and Administration from Southern Connecticut State University, a Master’s in Special Education from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor’s in Leisure and Recreational Activities from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
