Kimberly Merrick has a strong background in the field of education and advocacy. Kimberly currently holds the position of Vice President of Education at Wilson Language Training since January 2020. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the President of Higgins & Merrick Educational Advocacy Group starting from June 2010. Kimberly also held the role of Superintendent of Schools at Lenox Public Schools from July 2018 to January 2020. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as the Administrator of Special Education and Student Services at Wachusett Regional School District from June 2013 to July 2018.
Kimberly Merrick has a Doctor of Education - EdD degree in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University School of Education, which they completed from 2005 - 2010. Kimberly also holds a CAGS degree in Special Education and Teaching from the same institution, earned from 2000 - 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Salem State University, studying from 1990 - 1993. Kimberly'sundergraduate studies were completed at Saint Michael's College, where they received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching between 1985 - 1988.
