Karen Troutman

Karen Troutman has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Karen is currently serving as the Director of Public Relations at the Wilson School District, where they provide leadership in increasing public awareness of the District's activities and achievements. Prior to this, they worked for the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church as the Director of Communications, overseeing all marketing and communications efforts.

Before that, Troutman held various positions at National Penn, including Executive Vice President, Director of Marketing, and Vice President, Director of Public Relations and Community Relations. Karen successfully managed marketing campaigns, supervised a team of professionals, and had a $6 million budget. Within the same organization, they also worked as a Marketing Manager, where they focused on brand awareness and client presentations, and started off as an Advertising Coordinator, handling agency relationships and writing advertising copy.

Their experience also includes a role as an Account Supervisor at Jetson Direct Mail Services, where they managed client accounts. Additionally, they worked as a Copywriter at MMSS, writing advertising copy and overseeing print production. Troutman began their career as a Communications Assistant at the Lancaster Chamber, handling press releases, event planning, and marketing materials.

Karen Troutman attended Wilson High School, graduating in 1989. Karen then went on to attend Elizabethtown College from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their major was in Communications, with a minor in Marketing.
